Succession Planning

1. Values ALignment, Understanding & Engagement System (VALUE System) – Communication of the Organizations Value System. Every employee's responsibility is to understand, align to and engage themselves in the Value System;

1a. Associated Selection for Advancement Platform (ASAP) – An organized and efficient system for recognizing and selecting the best internal candidates for succession, cross-functional and advancement opportunities;

1b. Multiple Succession Streams – Succession Planning has been developed into Leadership Streams which link candidates to specific successions that they have identified or been identified with. Individuals can be identified for multiple succession streams.  Creates efficiency for Human Resources and Management during the selection process;

2. 360° Assessment Tools for Development Needs – are done yearly for each succession candidate to determine their readiness, development needs, alignment to the organization and their year-over-year growth. Assessment is specific to the organization's unique culture and needs.  This is not a ‘canned’ assessment approach.

2a. Individual SCOT Analysis – an interactive meeting with the candidate to discuss the individual’s Strengths, Challenges, Opportunities for development and what they identify as Threats to alignment.  For new members we introduce the features and benefits of the system so they can optimize on the opportunities that it can provide to them.

2b. Suggested Learning Initiatives – are provided to each succession candidate based on the areas of development that would have the greatest impact on the candidate’s leadership strength and alignment to the organization’s value system, and;

2c. Preferred Service Professionals – are provided to the Human Resources staff as a suggested list of Professionals in Training & Development, Coaching and Post Secondary Institutions to choose from for providing the needed Learning Initiatives.  The PSP list is a compilation of Service Professionals that have been identified by your organization and a group of qualified Service Professionals that will offer you the best value for your T&D dollars that have been sourced by Future Focus.

3. Automated Training Matrix - Central Processing System for all T&D, coaching and courses. The Training Matrix manages the entire training process from setup to completion and includes all Training Re-certifications (WHMIS, H&S, etc.).  This system manages the scheduling, communication of training, agreed upon billing, and facilities & resource requirements;

4. Demonstrated Characteristics Portfolio - The candidate can track and record projects, the measurable value it added to the organization and the characteristics they feel they demonstrated during projects or other initiatives. This is an internal CV for individuals to present their accomplishments within the organization.  It also allows the organization to see the ROI of training initiatives by showing the transfer of knowledge from the training room to practical application;
