
1. Multi-Tier Organizational and Departmental Strategy Planning System – Integrates organizational business imperatives with departmental imperatives and intra-departmental imperatives all linked to individual’s project plans;
2. Collaborative Planning Approach – Strategic planning can be done by an individual or a team. Collective participation in planning can occur from multi-site locations;
2a. Business Imperatives, Scope, Measurable Outcomes, Champion, and Timelines – Each of these are set by the Planning Committee, Council, or Board and communicated to the Project Champion once the project has been approved by the Committee;
2b. Approval Process – is designed for a multiple decision maker environment. The Planning is done as a group activity and inputted into the system by an administrator. Once an Imperative is inputted, it is sent to all of the decision makers for approval before the Imperative becomes “Live” for the Project Champion;
2c. Business Imperatives sent to Departments – will keep Departments that are affected by a specific Imperative or Project Plan informed. When a Project affects any department it is automatically added to that department’s Business Imperatives schedule, and;
3. Project Team Selection – this can either be done by the Planning Committee, Council or Board; or can be done by the Project Champion and then approved by the Planning Committee.
